Once again this week we have to rely on the ever popular Scotsman for the first XV story this week. We have been provided some photos though by the Dundee match photographer Richie Laurent which can be found here.

Maybe we should become a closed club again and we would at least know that someone in the first XV had been through school and was capable of writing a short story? Then again Bad Boy maybe ruins that theory.

IT IS an indication of just how little there is between the teams in Premiership Division One that having snatched a late win, Watsonians still consider themselves title contenders, while the defeat leaves Dundee High scrapping for survival.
It could have been very different. After falling behind to a try by Cammy Ferguson, converted by Barry Jones, who later added a penalty, the home side reached the break with a 20-10 lead, with pacy winger Rohan Steyl having touched down twice, while Andrew Skeen converted both and slotted two penalties.
The visitors were transformed after the restart, and could consider themselves unfortunate to have only a second penalty by Jones and a converted try by Dave Mason to show for their domination of the third quarter.
Their failure to capitalise on that pressure proved costly, as the home side raised the pace in the closing stages and snatched the victory when Skeen was perfectly positioned to stroke over a drop goal in the dying minutes.
While clearly frustrated at the outcome, Dundee coach Ian Rankin had some sympathy for his players, saying: "They are competitive in every game and just need to get on the other side of some results."
