After nearly 3 weeks away on World Cup duty, the Ed. is back and will endeavour to catch up with the goings-on at the Club.

The Ed. understand that in his absence, the Ladies have organised a tour to Italy, got a few of their players selected for Scotland, one of the 1st XV players retired to Coach the 3rd XV and the previously new Coach of the 3rd XV is now playing hooker for the 2nd XV ???

The Ed. also received news of glory for a former player and possibly other exiting titbits still hidden in his inbox.

|
|
Thankfully for the readers of watsoniansrugby.com, the Webmaster was able to publish the match reports for the past 3 weekends.

The Ed. will not dwell too long on the emotional height reached by the whole nation when France psyched New Zealand out during the Haka (and ran away with the game). Which was closely followed by total disbelief while watching France cunningly refuse to attack against England in the semi finals, stubbornly relying instead on an ineffective kicking game (England kicked France out of the World Cup...).
