Congratulations are due to former Ladies Captain Sheena Buchanan who has become engaged to her partner Ash Carroll.

Sheena played second-row for the women's side and has been the figurehead of that section for many years. She has finally hung up her playing boots this season, although we would not rule out yet another comeback, and is a familiar face around the club to many, having also toured to New Zealand and Fiji in 2005. She has also contributed many match reports to the website over the years and kept your correspondent and the Ed. right on all Watsonians women's rugby matters.

Sheena may not be playing this term, but Ash, who has played rugby league at a high level, has made sure they still have a presence within the women's squad as he has been coaching the forwards since the summer.
