The first league game of the season proved to be a testament to the consistency of the 2nd XV. Not only did the self proclaimed crazy gang beat Stewart's Melville 45-19 and but they immediately refused to write a match report.

Perhaps surprisingly, the boisterous gathering of 2nd XV players in the Clubhouse turned into shy debutantes when asked for a match report.

Numerous excuses were heard: It wasn't a good game! We were lucky! Somebody else should do it! I can't remember a thing! I can't write!
|

|
|
The Ed. will endeavour to bring a match report from the 2nd XV before the end of the season and will keep the readers updated on his progresses.
