With just a few days to go until the crucial first XV match at Melrose club captain Freddie Main has issued this message.

"This is a massive weekend for Watsonians. The first XV have a crucial fixture against Melrose that could decide which league the club plays in next season and the team would appreciate as much support as possible down at the Greenyards. So if you can make it down please go and cheer on the boys, it really makes a difference! The team really appreciates all the support they have received this season and will be giving everything they have to keep the club up in Premier One."
