On Saturday while most club members were at Melrose watching the first XV escape the drop from the top flight a handful of WFC stalwarts were at Prestonfield awaiting text updates on the big game.

That was because they were otherwise engaged at the wedding of former WFC supporter of the year Laura Macdonald. Indeed a great day in the sunshine only got better when news filtered through that ther first XV had won, much to the delight of the likes of father of the bride Ian 'Burns Supper legend' Macdonald, Pete 'the chat' Heatly and injured first XV man Ben Di Rollo.

All at the club wish Laura and new husband Grant all the best in the future.
