Info on this Friday's third XV Curry Night
On: 2010-04-21 15:15:03

The proposed curry night for Friday, April 23 is now booked, and for the first time organiser Baz Lawson has extended an invite to the ladies XV which has been taken up by more ladies than usually attend their week night trainings.
This may have something to do with the anticipation of an evening of high brow culture, witty anecdotes and quality food dished out in a BYOB restaurant that doesn't charge any corkage. Throw into this mix some of the club's finest male ambassadors and in all honesty who wouldn't be keen!
Pre-dinner drinks will be at the Golf Tavern next to the Meadows from 6-6.30pm before departing to Imans "true taste of Punjab" for dinner at 7.30pm, this is located on Gilmore place opposite the Kings Theatre and there is a supermarket on the walk from the Golf Tavern to Imans so refreshments will be readily available for purchase before the meal.
After the meal the night will continue on until the early hours with the next suggested location being the Brauhaus on Lauriston Place before undoubtedly ending in Drop Kick Murphys until close.
To the ladies I would refrain from wearing too much make up before the meal as it may smudge during the no hands starters, hopefully to all others please bring a stomach for hot dishes in case you lose the game of 5's for a jug of Vindaloo curry sauce as made famous at the last outing by Harris Grant, who to this day still has no sense of taste. So all in all its shaping up to be a massive evening and I'm looking forward to seeing you all there.
