Poor results for WFC this weekend

The club did not have a great weekend results-wise.

The first VII lost in the second round of the Gala Sevens on Saturday to Edinburgh Accies and were beaten by Selkirk in ther first round of the Earlston Sevens 24-hours later to end any slim hopes of retaining the Kings of the Sevens trophy.

The second VII lost in the plate semi-finals to the Bruce Hay Chiefs at the Boroughmuir Sevens on Friday night and then lost to Murrayfield Wanderers 31-26 at Musselburgh's event on Saturday.

And to cap off a bad weekend the ladies lost their Sarah Beaney Cup semi-finasl 71-15 to Aberdeenshire Quines on Sunday at Dreghorn.
