WFC young guns win at Cambuslang

A WFC under-20s squad won the Lanarkshire under-20s Sevens at Cambuslang on Sunday.

The talented squad of club players and GWC pupils came out on top after three pool matches, a semi and a final scoring 184 points and conceding just 32.

The squad was: Scott, Niven, Peacock, Blyth, Ferguson, McKean, Wilson, Buchan, Kinsey and Harris.

Meanwhile, on Saturday five WFC players turned out for charity side the Pigbarians at the Walkerburn Sevens. They lost in the first round to Selkirk.

Those involved were: Duthie, Niven, Curtis, Henderson and Mack.
