WFC club dinner success

The WFC club dinner was a superb end to a season full of ups and downs on Friday, May 14.

Club captain Freddie Main organised a great evening as players from all five teams, committee members and supporters partied late into the night.

The award winners were as follows:

First XV player of the year: Gregor Wood (pictured)

Second XV player of the year: Corey Dagger

Third XV player of the year: Ali Campbell

Fourth XV player of the year: Keith Ogle

Ladies XV player of the year: Amanda Byrne

The Fleming Trophy for the most improved young player: Harris Grant

The McNish Trophy for effort, attitude and ability: Gregor Wood

The Carmichael Trophy for the first XV's top try scorer: Mike Ker

The IAL Hogg Trophy to the member who has done most for the club: James 'Cakes' Robertson

The Fuzz Murray Memorial Trophy for the sevens player of the year: Max Learmonth

The Alistair Nimmo Trophy for the most improved emerging player from GWC: Jamie Forbes
