Congratulations to former WFC pair Bryan Rennie and Kyle Traynor who have been named in the Scotland A squad for this summer's Nations Cup.
Centre Bryan, now with the Exeter Chiefs and pictured, had a great season at 'Sonians in 2006/07 as the club won the Scottish Cup. He came over to us from South Africa, but has Scottish heritage.
Kyle skippered the first XV from prop two seasons ago and often still helps out at the club.
Scotland A will play three games in Bucharest, firstly against Scotland's 2011 Rugby World Cup opponents, Georgia, who the Scots beat 69-3 at Firhill back in November 2008. Tests against Namibia and Argentina Jaguars will follow.
Forwards: Geoff Cross (Edinburgh), James Eddie, Calum Forrester (both Glasgow Warriors), Chris Fusaro (Heriot's), Roddy Grant, Ryan Grant, Ally Hogg, Andrew Kelly, Scott MacLeod (all Edinburgh), Fergus Thomson (Glasgow Warriors), Kyle Traynor, Steven Turnbull (both Edinburgh), Richie Vernon, Jon Welsh (both Glasgow Warriors).
