Kyle added to Scotland squad

On: 2010-06-10 09:18:06

Former WFC skipper Kyle Traynor has flown out to Argentina to join the Scotland squad.

Traynor, who won three caps in last November's Autumn Tests, is being added to the squad as a precaution as Alasdair Dickinson has been affected by an abdominal upset.

Traynor, who was with the Scotland A squad in Bucharest preparing to launch their defence of the IRB Nations Cup, was expected to arrive in Buenos Aires on Thursday morning. As a result, David Young, 25, Traynor's Edinburgh team mate, who won his first Scotland A cap two years ago, will now travel to join the Scotland A squad.

Meanwhile, Stuart McInally and Mike Fedo played as Scotland under-20s lost 73-0 to South Africa on Wednesday.
