Phil taking part in Rob Roy Challenge

On: 2010-06-15 20:41:45

WFC front-row legend Phil Mowat is taking part in the Rob Roy Challenge this weekend.

Phil, who is threatening to attend pre-season this term, is helping raise vital funds for the NSPCC, The Prince's Trust, PSYBT and Sightsavers. The latter is a charity working to help people who are blind, or at risk of becoming blind, in over 30 of the poorest countries around the world.

The challenge consists of walking 16 miles from Drymen, near Loch Lomond, north-east through the Trossachs to Callander, and then switching to bikes for a 39 mile cycle to Kenmore.
