Bill Bowden, the president of Hartlepool Rovers and an old Watsonian, passed away this week after a long illness. A spokesman from Hartlepool Rovers said: "I know how proud he was of his involvement with your club prior to him moving to England in the early 1970s and joining the Rovers. "Bill will be much missed by all of us at Rovers and our thoughts are with his wife Doreen, children Keith, Moira and Fiona and their families." GH...more
