The Ladies XV lifted the BT Women’s Bowl with a 54-5 win over Morgan Academy.
The side led 10-5 at the interval, tries from Rachel Collins and player of the match Emma Evans with Morgan grabbing one back through Alana Davidson at BT Murrayfield.
In the second half ‘Sonians upped things a gear and scored 44 unanswered points.

On Saturday the second VII had a great day, but lost out to Edinburgh Accies in the final of the Edinburgh Northern Sevens. Good effort guys.
On Sunday the first VII lost to Gala 19-14, but beat Peebles 34-5 in the pool at the Berwick Sevens. Gala won the event. The first VII are fourth in the Kings of the Sevens table with seven events to go.
